Our munchkin is learning new things and words daily. Drink, juice, truck, car, purple, please, down, up please and shoes are some of the many recent words that Philip is now saying! Love this age:) Most of the time he is able to tell us what he wants or ask for help, etc.

Canada Day

On Friday, July 1st, Canada Day, Matthew had off work. We walked to the park in the morning and then after a nap for all of us we went to Phil and Ruth Lee's home for a bbq with most of the Lee clan (as well as Lianne and Mary Fitch with the kids). To end the lovely afternoon and evening, we had glow sticks and sparklers for the kids and watched fireworks! It was a night to remember and even Philip loved it. He wasn't scared at all, he enjoyed the lights and noise;)

Saturday we spent at Murphy's Point, a beach about a hour away, with Doug, Ardis Lee and 2 of their nephews. It was a sunny and beautiful day with good friends and food. Philip loves the beach!! Jon and Jen Woerlen invited us for supper on Sunday evening and Monday Philip and I were at another beach about 15 minutes away for home with Rebecca and Nathaniel Burwash.
