Philip and Gretchen just got back from 3 weeks in Salem. Gretchen's mother, Kris, was diagonosed on October 14, 2010 with a brain tumor. She went through brain surgery October 26th and is doing well. Kris is expected to start chemo and radiation this Thursday. If you would like more information on Kris, please visit

We had a lovely time in Salem with all the cousins, uncles/aunts and grandparents. We stayed with mom and dad and did what we could to help out while mom was in the hospital and recovering. We are thankful she is doing so well but continue to pray for a quick and complete healing.
